Aside from my wife and daughter who I love more than is imaginable. Even more than skiing, golf, travel and the New England Patriots. But at the core are 3 things. 3 fav’s or passions that keep me getting up each day and believe it or not Carpe Diem. They are Good food, Good Drink and my Good Friends. The food and drink I’ll get to at some point but, for now I’m gonna start with my friends. I have always had strict rules if you were going to be my friend. I would rather have no friends than shitty friends. I know for a fact someone is going to read this and have an “ah huh” moment! They need to be reliable, fun, accountable, honest and have the same zest for the adventure of life that I have. It has been one hell of a ride over the last 40+ years and it’ s all wrapped up as Hansapallooza. I have 6 good friends and a raft of just friends. My friends are spread all over the world. I may not see some for a year but it’s like I saw them yesterday when we hook up again. My bud in Bermuda, Chef Tom we email 3 times a year with insults mostly but he’s a great mate. Kimball and Alan in PEI love them like brothers. Joe Knauss in Boca Raton solid and true. On and on it goes but, my Good Friends are here in Ontario. Nick, Dennis, Jimmy, Terry/ They hold the torch and see the light. They have all experienced Hansapallooza and lived to tell the tale. And tales we will tell!
