The Aveda Institute offers foundational training in hairstyling and esthetics for those with little or no previous experience. Upon graduation, you will have not only earned a diploma, but also the necessary technical and business building skills to excel in the industry!
Every Student is an Artist
In our Hairstyling Program, you can bring your artistic vision to life through our Creative Imagery Project. From developing your idea to collaborating with a creative director, photographer and makeup artist you are involved in the entire process of an editorial shoot. Students receive copies of their best images and the skills to direct their own future shoots. In today's beauty industry, these skills will prepare students for future success working in editorial, television, film or theatre.
Real World Experience
Our curriculum prepares students for real life. You begin working on models in only a few months and continue to practice your techniques on guests throughout the rest of the program. More practical salon and spa experience means the more ready you are for a successful career in the real world.
